SouthAsia_ALL CHILDREN IN SCHOOL BY 2015 Global Initiative
In order to realize the rights of ALL children to education, political commitment and adequate policy responses are needed to address exclusion from education. This study looks at some noteworthy policy responses in the four countries with the aim of documenting and sharing these practices to all South Asian countries and beyond. More importantly, this study has identifi ed a set of commendations and areas for further research to address exclusion in education. We highly encourage all education stakeholders to take note of these recommendations and the new insights into the characteristics of excluded groups of children in South Asia.
