Reaching the marginalized report

Reaching the marginalized report
As the goal established for 2015, the GEM reminds that many countries will no reach despite a lot of changes in the past decade. With the economic crises, the marginalized became even more vulnerable in some country caused by the poverty. Without urgently considering to include them into the process of education for all and giving them access to education the protection of their right to education is a failure. Despite the progress of the past decade, absolute deprivation in education remains at high levels. On any global scale, having fewer than four years of education is a sign of extreme disadvantage. The DME data set establishes this as a benchmark for ‘education poverty’, with less than two years in school as an indicator for ‘extreme education poverty’
