The real Lives behind the Data
This factsheet presents the stories of Nur, Malek, Layla, Sherif, Amir, and Hala. They are children from Egypt, the occupied Palestinian territory, Jordan, and Lebanon who shared, together with their family members, about the challenges they face, their hopes and projects, and – in some cases- also their positive experience of inclusion in education. These children’s stories demonstrate the urgency to scale up efforts. They come with a broader call to action for governments, the international donors’ community, and civil society organisations, because education transformation can only happen if the right to quality education for all children – including children with disabilities- is upheld.
